KANE AND LEANNE

Welcome to Napa!

so what do we do?…

Here's the good thing about Napa... you really can't go wrong.  The food and the wine are all awesome, and you can make a unique trip every time you come.  But we thought we'd share a few of our favorite spots.  Mention our name and they'll probably treat you to exactly no special perks whatsoever.  If you find somewhere new that you love...don't be stingy...let us know!  Anyway, we know you'll have fun.  Cheers!

Nickel and Nickel

Hands down our favorite spot in Napa.  Reserve early because spots fill up fast.  But the scenery is unbelievable and the Cabs are better.

Frog's Leap

Time to relax.  Grab a Zin and enjoy on the porch.  Frog's Leap has made a name for itself by using a technique called "dry farming".  We don't know what this means, but we imagine it's something to do with less water?  No water?  Whatever, the scenery is incredible.

Black Stallion

Now we're talking.  If you liked Nickel, you'll love Black Stallion.  A little more low key, but they aren't shy about their pours.  Just make sure you reserved a ride home.

Don't drink on an empty stomach...

Redd Wood

Time to eat up.  This is a marathon, not a sprint.  Stop in for a craft pizza and enjoy the town.

Bottega

This place is legit, and is home to some of our best meals...and favorite wines.

R+D Kitchen

Probably our favorite spot back home.  So we were ecstatic to find out there's another one in Napa.  Get the chicken sandwich and thank us later. You might even catch the Best Man wheeling and dealing for an extra deviled egg.

Still thirsty?

Far Niente

The sister winery of Nickel and Nickel, and home to some great Chardonnays and Cabernets.  And make sure you try the Dolce.

Whetstone

This one is a bit of a drive. But it's family owned (like the backyard of their house), and make some of the best Pinots and Voigniers in town (we didn't know what  Voignier was either).  You'll get to chat with the owner, and probably their dog "Ace."
